1 cup wheat flour
1 cup corn meal
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup corn
1 tsp dried thyme
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
1/4 tsp baking soda
4 oz [3/4 cup] farmer cheese
1/2 stick [2 oz] butter
whisk wheat -> thyme together in a medium bowl
whisk egg -> farmer cheese together in a small bowl
fold wet into dry
set oven at 375°
drop butter into pie plate
place in oven until butter is melted & bubbling furiously
remove pie plate from oven
pour batter into pie plate on top of butter
bake 30 minutes until knife comes out clean
